Spicy Roasted Radishes


Serving Size: 2-3 | Prep Time: 5 minutes|  Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients

  • 10 red radishes; halved 
  • 1 tbs avocado oil 

Spices

  • ½ tsp turmeric
  • ½ tsp red chili powder
  • ½ tbs Fijian Masala
  • ½ tsp salt 

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350℉. 
  2. Wash red radishes to remove dirt. 
  3. Optional: To remove bitterness, soak in very cold water for 30 minutes. The chill sweetens the vegetables.
  4. Cut off ends. 
  5. Cut radishes in half. 
  6. Place radishes in a medium sized mixing bowl. 
  7. Pour oil and spices into bowl. With hands, mix well to ensure it’s coated. 
  8. Line baking pan with parchment paper. 
  9. Place radishes on pan open flesh side up. 
  10. Serve alongside protein dish.
